Georgia Program Associate
Education: MA degree and BA at the University of Pécs (Hungary) and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (Georgia).
During her studies Mariam has been involved in implementation of different projects including: EBRD Business Forum, Silk Road Forum, Chemistry Olympiad, and Youth Olympic Games. She interned at the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, and at the Embassy of Georgia to Hungary. While studying at the University of Pécs she acted as the University Ambassador for one year.
Experience: Mariam has two years of writing/editing experience at the European Student Think Tank (EST), and a year of data collection and reviewing experience at the Oxford Covid-19 Government Response Tracker (OxCGRT) project launched by the University of Oxford. In 2021 Mariam joined the Protecting Every Child’s Potential Project (PECP) implemented jointly by Pure Earth, Clarios Foundation, and UNICEF as a consultant combining the tasks of researcher, investigator, and administrative assistant.
