- MSc in Biology and Ecology, Armenian State Pedagogical University, Yerevan, Armenia
- MSc in Environmental Science, University of Idaho, USA
- MSc in Water Science, Policy and Management, University of Oxford, UK
- Ph.D. Candidate in Water Resources, University of Idaho (expected in 2023)
Lusine has over 20 years of experience in environmental and water sectors and worked in the national and transboundary water management projects implemented with support of USAID, UNDP, European Union and the World Bank in Armenia and the Southern Caucasus. Specialization and competence in natural resources management, policy development, river basin planning, environmental impact assessment, Life Cycle Assessment, energy, and climate change.
In 2017-2019 she worked for Blacksmith Institute/Pure Earth as the Country Coordinator for Armenia. Managed the Lead Remediation Project in Akhtala, Armenia and coordinated the Toxic Sites Identification Project activities in Armenia. Currently Lusine is a Doctoral Research Assistant at the Soil and Water Department of the University of Idaho, USA.
