Biography: born in Denau City, Uzbekistan and grew up in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. 

Education: 

• In 2021 Umidjon defended his Doctorate Thesis “Legal aspects of regulation of water users associations activities under civil law of the Republic of Tajikistan”. 
• MS in Law, Russian-Tajik Slavonic University (Dushanbe, Tajikistan, 2005)

Author of 12 scientific publications, including a monograph and a textbook. From 2001 to 2022 worked for NGOs “Youth Ecological Center” (2001-2004), “Youth of the 21^st Century” (2004-2016), “Peshsaf” (2012-2022), Blacksmith Institute/Pure Earth (2011-2021); participated and managed projects supported by OSCE, UNDP, FAO, EC. Part-time senior lecturer at the Russian-Tajik Slavonic University since 2009. 

Responsibilities: POPs program management, program management in Tajikistan.

Based at: Dushanbe, Tajikistan, very frequently travelling for project work.
